Elizabeth Wenner - 2023 Century Club Member

My Century Club ride, on my heart horse, Nyzielster Boy (Star), was in February 2023. It was a goal that I had for some time. Sadly, my Star died suddenly on October 4, 2023 at age 28. We had such an amazing journey together. He was my first dressage horse, my first Dutch Warmblood, and my teacher.

Star loved his job. I shared him with others to get their USDF bronze and silver medals. He took me down centerline at my first rated show in 46 years. He took good care of me and others. Later in life, he would carry children in their dressage lessons. He was a true schoolmaster.

Because of Star, I am continuing my love of dressage and the KWPN horses by purchasing a colt in 2022 from MJ Proulx’s Canadream Farm. Seasong Dream is teaching me about young horses which is a new journey for me. I am happy to see him develop, and hopefully, I will get to see him go down centerline in the future.
