Comet and I have been together for 11 years. Comet (Tri Wishes) is an off-track Thoroughbred.  We have very similar personalities in that we both spook at unexpected loud noises and items, and snow falling off roofs!! Although, I must say we have both mellowed in the last few years.

I’ve learned so much since our partnership began. He’s taught me that if I’m nervous about something, he will also be nervous. He’s taught me not to hang on the reins because he doesn’t understand what I’m asking of him. He’s taught me that he understands when I turn my shoulders and look where I want to go. He’s taught me so much more that I can’t even list it all here.

I’ve loved our partnership and anticipate riding as long as we both can. I was very lucky to be supported in my desire to do my Century Club ride by family, friends, and my judge, Matthew Beasley.
