I took my first riding lesson when I was 43 and haven’t stopped riding since. Pride came into my life in 2009 as a free lease. After four years, his owner decided to sell him, and I was happy to purchase him. We have continued to work together to improve our partnership.
On September 21, 2024, Encore Stables in Fulton, Maryland, sponsored a “Proud to Be a Chicken” dressage schooling show. My daughter made our costumes, and Pride was fine with being a chicken!
