Homestead Farm in Catlett, Virginia, was the show venue on September 15, 2024, when Bob Clements and his 20-year-old Hanoverian gelding, Moon Striker, rode a Third Level Musical Freestyle for their membership into the Century Club. On that day, Bob was 89 years old, and their combined age was 109! Fourteen days later, on September 29, Bob rode the same musical freestyle at his 90th birthday celebration and their combined age was 110 years old!
Bob is not new to the Century Club, having first attained membership in 2013 as Team #147 riding his Hanoverian mare, Golden Rosebud.
Bob began riding when he was 55 years old. He was a practicing dentist for 37 years. After retirement, he became a licensed veterinary technician in 1998 and holds a current license.
