TDF will also accept applications for the $25,000 Advanced Prize on its typical due date of August 31st.

The Carol Lavell Advanced Dressage Prize provides financial assistance for coaching and training to talented, committed, proven horse and rider combinations with the ability and plans to reach and excel at the elite, international standards of high-performance dressage. Please note these updated requirements: The horse and rider must be competing successfully at U-25, Intermediate 2, or Grand Prix.

Beth Baumert, TDF’s President and CEO said, “Memories generally fade. However, the memory of Carol Lavell continues to blossom and grow. Carol was one of my favorite people in the world. She was a brilliant horsewoman, and a brilliant person. She was clever, hard-working, wise, vibrant, fun and very, very generous. TDF is honored to be able to offer multiple grants in her name year after year. Endless thanks to Carol and to her family.”
